So, I'm packing for a 4-day trip to LA.
What to pack? Here are a few snapshots of what's in my suitcase.
As a Midwest gal, I reminded myself of the heat I'll find in California on this jaunt in June.
buckle up belt
Fashionably fasten with a belt that may be mistaken for an airplane seat buckle.
The benefit here is that if you should forget to fasten up on board, the airplane attendant probably won't know.
prepared with passport
While you don't need a passport to travel within the US, you never know when you'll need to hop on a flight to France.
Should Paris call while you're away from home, you'll be glad you've got it on you.
white & light
A sleeveless dress & slip are necessary.
With a sheer, lace layer the dress is accented appropriately with a sheer, lace scarf.
As for the slip, it serves as sleepwear as well in addition to a secondary layer to conceal.
One never knows when your inner cowgirl will long to lasso up an adventure or two.
So, it's best to be prepared with the appropriate attire - high heeled boots & a cowgirl hat.
For feminine flair, pack a pink lace skirt with heels to match.
With an athletic shoe sole, these kicks are equal parts sassy & sporty.
open back top
No sleeves. No collar. No way I'll be too warm in this.
I can stroll in the sun without breaking a sweat, with material that's sheer & nearly weightless.
tank top, jeans & heels
You can dress casual with confidence in a black tank, your favorite jeans & a pair of fabulous heels.
For fun, a wrist cuff is an adorable accent.
Don't forget your favorite fragrance.
When I pack, this is the first thing I grab.
