 Behold the Basil Gimlet in all its glory. I had the honor & pleasure of imbibing this interesting beverage the other night at the Back Room at Nick's. Never been to Nick's? It's an entirely fabulous establishment I recommend you visit the next time you find yourself in McMinnville, Oregon. Here they serve wine (of course), beer (required for winemakers) and epic cocktails (such as the Basil Gimlet). Getting back to this gimlet, I can confess that I enjoyed it much more than I anticipated. It brought so much pleasure that I have plans on having another in the very near future. Got Gimlet?
