Proud In Pink

Some girls feel pretty in pink.
Not me.
I'm one of those girls who does NOT wear pink.
Rather, I used to be one of those girls.

I've had a change of heart in regard to the princess-esque shade I used to avoid
when it came to clothes, lipstick and nearly all other things.
Setting personal style preferences aside, I've decided to wear pink.
For what?
For a cause.
If a guy I know can paint his boat pink, name a project after the color
and dedicate his life to the cause that the hue represents - breast cancer research,
I can at the very least wear the shade to show my support.

I'd like you all to raise a glass to Tom Watson,
