Today, I'm the one behind the eight ball. Rather, I'm on it.
My hand is on the eight ball adorned stick shift of our beat up, cherry hued F-150,
which I lovingly refer to with mechanic admiration as 'Big Red'.
City streets are fine, but back roads and two tracks found outside the city limits are more my speed.
On dirt roads, I feel more grounded.
Here I find clarity in the dust by which I'm surrounded.
